Who likes to have a healthy sandwich as a snack in the middle of the night? If you like savory snacks when you feel a bit hungry at night or during day, nothing could be healthier and pleasing than Spinach and Avocado Sandwich! This is such a tasty sandwich that you can even have it as a breakfast or lunch, but you need to increase the portion or use a larger toast bread then.

I’ve tried and shared several avocado recipes here since I first discovered this non-Turkish food a few years ago. I must admit that I’ve already become a big fan of avocado and always love to try new recipes with it. I feel like I’m the healthiest person as I eat this butter like fruit!

You know it’s very rich in antioxidants and contains good fat, which helps lowering blood pressure. No need to mention that it’s also high in fiber. You see avocado is such a magical fruit that can fix many problems in your body, so make sure you have enough avocado in your diet.

How can you make an avocado sandwich even healthier? Combine it with some baby spinach leaves and you will reach the wonder of two greens in a sandwich.
What would you add in your spinach and avocado sandwich to make it even tastier and tempting? I can’t think of a good sandwich without pickles, so I put pickled jalapeno pepper slices. The combination is incredibly tasty!
Believe it or not I sometimes make this sandwich with Fried Eggs With Spinach for lunch and it becomes a gorgeous sandwich that is super satisfying.

I used naan bread to make this sandwich, but you can use whole wheat bread not to move away from healthiness or use a gluten-free bread if it’s necessary for your diet.
I guarantee this will become one of your favorite sandwiches!

Spinach and Avocado Sandwich
A very healthy sandwich with avocado, spinach, feta and jalapeno.

Ingredients
- 4 pieces bread
- ½ avocado
- A pinch of salt
- 100g spinach leaves
- 4 tbsp feta, crumbled
- 1 tbsp pickled jalapeno pepper slices
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Brush the outside of bread pieces with olive oil and place them on a hot grill.
- Grill each side until toasted about 2 minutes.
- Mash avocado with a fork, sprinkle a pinch of salt and spread it evenly in bread slices.
- Put crumbled feta, pickled jalapeno peppers and top with spinach leaves.
- Serve immediately!
