Chocolate Dipped Wafer Cookies are the easiest, cheapest and cutest treats ever! The holiday season has already been over, but parties must go on, right?

There is always something to celebrate if you are one of those party people. You don’t even need a special day, do you? You can just invite friends to have a fantastic Friday night together. These cute guys can make your night look more special and your guests will be impressed. Oh I’m aware of the coming Valentine’s Day and you can’t find a better, quicker and easier Valentine’s Day recipe than these.

If you are a regular reader of Give Recipe, you already know that I am so much in love with those colorful sprinkles. If you want to make something look more special and fancy, use sprinkles. Our readers loved the Chocolate Dipped Marshmallows we made last year and they are still thanking for the idea. They’ve made that recipe for various celebrations either for kids or adults. I’m sure you will equally love these Chocolate Dipped Wafer Cookies.

The best thing about these cookies is that you don’t need to bake. You can make these even half an hour before the party. There will be no mess in your kitchen. Isn’t that a great reason to make these? You just need some sugar wafers, chocolate and sprinkles with your favorite color. I used chocolate sugar wafers, but you can use and wafers you like. The cream inside my wafers was a sour cherry flavored cream and it makes these treats even more special. Their sourish sweet flavor reminds you of late summer. We all need this in this heavy snowy weather, don’t we? Just use the wafers with your favorite flavor.

Besides cute and colorful sprinkles, I decorated my Chocolate Dipped Wafer Cookies with hearts to make them more suitable for Valentine’s Day.

You need to melt some chocolate in a heat-proof bowl over simmering water. Stir until smooth and wait until it reaches room temperature. If you dip the wafers into the chocolate when it’s still hot, the wafers will soften, which is not something we desire.

I inserted lollipop sticks into the wafers and I think they become something like candy pops. These sticks are great when making and serving the chocolate dipped wafer cookies. So hold them from their sticks and pour melted chocolate over half of the wafers using a spoon and put them in a styrofoam block to help them dry. Take them from there and decorate with sprinkles and serve them in fancy looking glasses or in a basket. Serve these super easy treats to your sweetheart on the Valentine’s Day.

hi, I just wanted to know how you stored these? I wanted to make these for a shower, but not sure if I can make them in advance or if they'll get soft?

      Thanks so much!

Hi, I wouldn't recommend making these in advance as they get might lose their crunchiness.
