    Fresh Strawberry Margarita

Fresh Strawberry Margarita is the ultimate strawberry cocktail recipe for me. And now is the best time to make this fantastic margarita as tasty strawberries are in abundance.

You might love the classic frozen strawberry margarita, but when we have the fresh ones, why not use a lot of them? This is one of the easiest cocktails you can prepare at home using with your blender. Just make sure you have enough ice in the freezer before starting to make your margarita since a good cocktail must be perfectly chilled.

Fresh Strawberry Margarita is one of the best drinks to welcome spring and enjoy summer. You can feel like you are on the beach in the late afternoon just after a few sips from this margarita. Have you seen our Orange Vodka Martini yet? What I love about both of these cocktails is the easiness and simplicity. You don’t need many ingredients for these and ou can always make your own twist on these.

You need lots of fresh strawberries, lime juice, tequila, orange liqueur and honey for this recipe. Just blend them well with ice and share into glasses of your choice. I love to serve it in classic margarita glasses because I think they look more suitable for spring or summer. I use honey to sweeten the mixture because I don’t think strawberries are sweet enough for a cocktail although they are very ripe. If you don’t have honey in hand, just use some sugar depending on your taste or if you like your drink stronger, just leave any sweetener out.

If you want your drink to look like a fancy treat, just rim the glasses with sugar or salt. I prefer salt as I think it makes a very nice contrast to the honey and strawberries. You can definitely garnish your glasses with strawberry or lime wedges too, but I thought just salt was enough this time. I topped my Fresh Strawberry Margarita with a sprig of fresh mint instead.

If you don’t like fruity cocktails, I recommend you to make Pure Mexican Margarita to toast these lovely April days.

Hmmmm, not usually a fan of this cocktail but then we've never had it with strawberries in. Yeah, they're everywhere it seems at the moment. Fethiye pazars are packed with local strawberries so might just have to have a little sunny treat with them now. 😉
