Mexican Cucumber Snack

One of the best summer snacks for picnics, beach days, or barbecues.

These are made with crunchy cucumbers, spicy Tajin seasoning (or chili powder), and lime juice. It takes less than 10 minutes to make!

Let’s get started!

Ingredients

– cucumber – lime – Tajin (or chili powder) – salt (if Tajin is not used)

Wash the cucumber well and peel it. Leave the skin on it if you want.

Slice the cucumber into round pieces.

Cut a lime in half and squeeze its juice all over the cucumber pieces.  Make sure every piece gets some lime juice on it.

Sprinkle Tajin seasoning (or your chile powder mix) over the cucumber pieces.  If you're not using Tajin, remember to add a little salt for flavor. Stir well.

You can cut the cucumber in spears if you want.

For a richer flavor profile, serve this cucumber snack with Mexican salsas like Chamoy or Valentina.
