Easy Yeast Rolls

Soft and fluffy rolls. Perfect for beginners, ideal for any meal!

Believe it or not, it is so easy to make them.  All you need is a few basic ingredients.  With this well proven classic recipe, they ALWAYS turn out great!

Let’s get started!

Ingredients

– Instant yeast – Lukewarm water - All purpose flour - Salt – Melted butter – Lukewarm milk – Sugar

Prepare the Yeast

In a small bowl, whisk together warm water, instant yeast, and sugar. Let this mixture sit for about 5 minutes.

In a large bowl, combine all-purpose flour and salt. Add in the warm milk and melted butter.

Pour the proofed yeast mixture into the bowl with the flour.

Knead the Dough

Using your hands, combine all the ingredients in the bowl. Knead the mixture right in the bowl. Wet your fingers slightly with water when needed.

Let the Dough Rise

Transfer the dough to a lightly greased large bowl. Cover the bowl with a clean kitchen towel or plastic wrap.

Allow the dough to sit at room temperature for about 1 hour, or until it doubles in size.

Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface. Shape it into a log and slice it.

Shape each piece into a ball and place them in a baking pan lined with parchment paper.

Second Rise

Cover the pan with a kitchen towel or plastic wrap. Let the rolls rise for the second time.

Bake the Rolls

Bake the rolls for 15-20 minutes, or until they turn golden brown.

Make Them Buttery

Brush each with melted butter. Allow them to cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
