The easiest way to cook wheat berries.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup wheat berries
  • 4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Rinse wheat berries well. Put them in a pot.

Notes

  1. Make sure you don't overcook wheat berries. Otherwise, they get mushy. Check them often after they boil.
  2. White wheat berries and red wheat berries cook in the same way.
  3. You can store cooked wheat berries in the refrigerator for up to a week or for 4 months in the freezer for a later use.
  4. You can add salt either when cooking or when using them in other recipes.
