Figs with Goat Cheese

Sweet, ripe figs meet creamy goat cheese in this mouthwatering recipe.

An easy yet elegant appetizer recipe with simple ingredients.  They are naturally sweetened and gluten free. A perfect combination of sweet, tangy and savory flavors.

Ingredients

– fresh figs – goat cheese – balsamic vinegar – olive oil – honey – black pepper

Prepare The Figs

Trim off the stems of the figs. Cut a cross on top of each fig, slicing from the top to bottom. But don’t slice through the entire fig.

Assemble

Place about 1 teaspoon of goat cheese into each. Brush them with olive oil, drizzle with balsamic vinegar and then honey. Sprinkle black pepper on them.

Bake The Stuffed Figs

Bake in the oven (preheated at 350 F) for 12 minutes or until there are brown bits on goat cheese. Serve warm or at room temperature.
