Homemade Peach Cobbler With Fresh Peaches

The easiest homemade cobbler recipe ever. Use it with any fruit.

INGREDIENTS
  

  • 2 and ½ cups peach slices ripe and firm
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

For the topping:

  • ½ cup butter melted
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspon salt
  • 1 egg

INSTRUCTIONS
 

  • Preheat oven to 350F.
  • Place the peach slices into a greased 8 inch square cake pan. In a small bowl mix sugar and cinnamon, sprinkle this over peach slices.
  • In a large bowl whisk together melted butter and sugar.
  • In a small bowl combine together the flour, baking powder and salt. Pour this over the butter-sugar mixture. Stir well with a spatula.
  • Add in a whole egg and mix well until smooth with a spatula. It should be a thick batter.
  • Spread this over the peach slices. You can use a small knife or spatula to spread the batter on the all peaches.
  • Bake for 40 minutes or until golden.
  • Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
