Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls

Filled with sweet spices and topped with creamy frosting.

These are wonderfully soft and packed with delicious pumpkin and pumpkin spice flavors.  Perfect for fall mornings!

Let’s get started!

Dough Ingredients

– Flour – Instant dry yeast – Sugar - Salt - Pumpkin spice – Milk – Pumpkin puree – Butter

Filling Ingredients

– Brown sugar – Pumpkin spice – Nuts - Butter

Frosting Ingredients

– Butter – Pumpkin spice – Powdered sugar - Vanilla extract

Make the dough

Whisk together the flour, instant yeast, sugar, pumpkin spice and salt. Add in the other ingredients and mix. Cover and let it sit in a warm place for at least 1 hour.

Make the filling

Mix all the ingredients in a small bowl until a paste forms and there are no lumps. Set aside.

Assemble

Roll the dough out into a large rectangle (about 5mm-1cm thick) Spread the filling on the surface evenly leaving a little space on the edges.

Slice the Rolls

Refrigerate it for 20-30 minutes to firm it up. Slice this into 10-12 individual rolls with a sharp knife or a dough scraper.

Bake the Rolls

Bake the rolls in the oven (at 350F / 180C) for 20 minutes or lightly golden. Let them cool for 15-20 minutes.

Spread the Frosting

Cream the butter until fluffy. Add in the powdered sugar, pumpkin spice, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth. Spread the frosting on the rolls when they are still warm and serve.
