Whole Wheat Seed Bread

Whole wheat bread topped with sunflower seeds and poppy seeds.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Sift flour on the counter and make a well in the center.
  2. Mix lukewarm water and dry yeast and wait for 10 minutes.
  3. Pour sugar, salt and yeast into the center of flour.
  4. Add egg and olive oil and mix with your hand for about 5 minutes.
  5. Combine it well until you have a non sticky dough.
  6. Cover it a wet kitchen towel and let it rest for 40 min.
  7. Preheat oven at 190C.
  8. Line 2 oven trays with baking paper
  9. Divide the dough into two and roll them out in a rectangular shape and transfer into oven trays.
  10. Make random short lines on them with a knife.
  11. Cover with a wet kitchen towel and wait for further 30 minutes.
  12. Mix yolks with olive oil and spread it on loaves with a brush.
  13. Place chopped peppers gently pressing on them.
  14. Sprinkle seeds and sweet chili.
  15. Bake for 30 minutes until golden.
