A good chocolate cookie must have chocolate inside, the ones with cocoa powder only are not enough to make someone happy. If they have extra chocolate chunks on their top, it’s for sure that you will be so delighted and when you see the snow like pieces of marshmallow on your cookie, your joy will double!

Marshmallow has something that reminds me of my childhood, and this is another thing that makes me happy when making something with it. Who wouldn't be happy to be served some chocolate covered marshmallows?

These chocolate cookies with marshmallows turned out amazing! I couldn’t find mini marshmallows at the market, so I cut them into small pieces.

I enjoyed making these so much! I can even try making my own marshmallow one day. Why not? If you know a good recipe for homemade marshmallow, please share it at the comments section.

These are chewy cookies and you feel an amazing chocolate flavor at your first bite. Marshmallow cubes might stretch as you are eating and it’s another fancy part of these marshmallow chocolate cookies.

Are you one of those who love dipping biscuits or cookies into your tea or coffee? It’s something childish as well, but who cares? They become the perfect couple that way! Let’s unify the lovers and dip our cookies into our favorite drink! Just ignore what others think about you even if you cause a mess doing that!

I was quite amazed at how easy to make these cookies. They made 30 cookies and I took some to work. My colleagues LOVED it and they said that these were just like the store bought ones, even better. One of them has been continually asking whether I posted the recipe, so I didn’t want to make her wait any longer and decided to share it today.

Don't you think these make perfect Valentine's treat too?

Hi, this looks like a fun recipe to try! If I wanted to add some cornflakes, how much should I add?

      Hi Chloe,
I'm sorry but I've never used cornflakes in this recipe and to be honest, I'm not sure how it would be. I'd love to hear your result if you try.

Great recipe! I made these for my 5th grade students as an end of the year gift. They loved them!

Wow, the cookies look fantastic. I've never made anything with marshmallows (I don't think I have ever eaten one), it is time to change that. My kids would adore these!

Yeah, this recipe really needs work. The mixture is way too dry. Either the amount of flour is off or the butter is. It has promise, though. I might try it again if the recipe gets fixed.

Sounds great, but how do I convert from grams? I usually use ounces for chocolate (or squares for baking chocolate) and cups or Tablespoon for butter. 25g marshmellow - have no idea how to convert that one!

Hi Sari, When you write grams to ounce at google, it gives the converted version. You can easily convert the measurements here to whatever measurement you are using.

Hello, Use Alton Brown's marshmallow recipe, from FoodNetwork. It works every time. There is even an option for Mini marshmallows. You Need a stand mixer! Marshmallows are a kitchen " science project", fun to make, and taste even better!

There was a technical problem. It looks like the recipes of my two posts switched. Can't understand how. I corrected them and they are working fine now. Thanks for letting me know!

You may want to double check your recipe. I think you are missing some ingredients and steps… For example you never wrote when to add the chocolate mixture. Also, the dough is too dry to come together, probably missing vanilla and other wet ingredients.

Jessica, melted chocolate is poured in the sugar-butter-egg mixture and then this mixture is combined with the dry ingredients. Forgot to write it in the instructions, I've corrected it just now. Thanks for reminding!
