Green Lentil Pasta
A perfect vegetarian pasta with green lentils!
- Prep Time: 10 minutes
- Cook Time: 20 minutes
- Total Time: 30 minutes
- Yield: 4
- 250g pasta
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- ½ cup green lentils
- 1 cup water
- ¼ tsp salt
- A few sprigs of parsley, minced
- ¼ tsp chili powder
- Cook pasta according to package directions.
- Drain the pasta. Add butter, cover the pot and wait until the butter melts inside.
- Heat olive oil, add chopped onion and saute.
- Add in green lentils and pour 1 cup water.
- Boil it until lentils are tender, add salt.
- Mix boiled green lentils with pasta.
- Sprinkle chili powder and minced parsley on it before serving.
