This amazingly tasty One-Pot Pasta with Sausages takes no more than 15 minutes from start to finish. Can you think of a better dinner? Just combine everything in one pot and cook until they get tender and the water is absorbed. When I say everything, I really mean it! You don’t have to boil the water in this recipe. Everything is cooked at the same time, which makes it almost too good to be true! Try and see it yourself f you don’t believe me.
I decided to make it when I saw Katerina’s fantastic One-Pot Caprese Pasta Dinner on her blog, diethood. I was about to boil water for the pasta before I realized in the instructions that it is used cold. I thought I would boil the water and toss in the rest of the ingredients as we always do when making pasta. But no, this is a real one-pot meal and all ingredients cook together.
This one-pot pasta doesn’t need any sauce as it is already rich and saucy. You can use your favorite sauce ingredients into the pot along with the pasta and let the flavors blend well together. I didn’t use but if you like cheese in your pasta, add it as a final touch after the water in the pot reduces.
Pasta already cooks fast, so don’t overcook this one just because the pot is loaded with sausages, tomatoes and green beans. Taste it as it cooks and when the pasta is soft enough, take it from the heat.
One more thing about the one-pot pasta is that you shouldn’t drain it. Otherwise it will lose flavors.
Seeing how easy it is to make this one-pot pasta, I started to think of other variations. Pasta has always been the ultimate favorite of us and I’ve discovered the easiest method just now! I don’t think I will use the traditional method again.
