It’s finally pomegranate season here! I love the jewelry like seeds of pomegranates! They look so precious with that amazingly bright color and you feel like there is a refreshing explosion in your mouth hen you eat a handful of these pomegranate seeds. It always makes me happy to see this magical fruit at the market and Fall is definitely the right season to make something with it. I love to have these seeds plain or drink this Magical Pomegranate Juice, but I do love to use it in different ways too! I wanted to combine these tiny delightful and healthy bombs with something sweet this time and made this super easy no-bake chocolate pomegranate tart.
You don’t need a lot of time for making this no-bake pomegranate tart, you just need to wait some time when it’s resting in refrigerator. Although it’s easy peasy to make this tart, it looks surprisingly elegant and tastes heavenly! A sweet treat doesn’t have to require much effort and many ingredients to impress your guests, right? This pomegranate tart does its job and draws everyone’s attention on itself by the time it takes place on the dinner table!
I used Turkish type oatmeal biscuits for this tart. You know they make everything easier and quicker, so why should I bother making the dough myself when I don’t have enough energy and time and when there is an easy of it? Remember I’m a mom of a 4-month-old boy?
To get the best result, wait it in the refrigerator until the chocolate topping is very well chilled and becomes stiff.
If you have never combined chocolate and pomegranate before, you’ve missed a lot! It’s so good to feel tiny and sourish exploding seeds with the sweet and a bit bitter flavor of chocolate. They are like rain drops falling on your skin on a summer day. I know we are already away from that season, but it brings good memories and I like it in Fall, the melancholic time of the year.
I’m also planning to try Pinky Sweet Smoothie with pomegranates next time. I’m sure it’s a great food to wake me up in the morning!

JoAnn...I was thinking of using a nut crust..such as almond or hazelnuts...or amaretto cookie crust...
this recipe looks so delicious but can anyone give a good substitution / alternative for the oatmeal biscuits here in the United States?
maybe use a graham cracker crust?
